All delivery’s are sent by a courier and will require a signature. Mainland Express orders (received before 2.30pm) are usually sent on a next day delivery. Whilst we strive for next day delivery on all Express items there will inevitably be the odd occasion where circumstances beyond our control (ie. Stock transfers) prevent this.
On the very rare occasion that this does happen, we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of the item.
Browns Angling rely upon the services of third party couriers, and there may be the odd occasion when the couriers let us down. For clarification, Browns Angling will not refund any delivery charge if the courier has failed to deliver the item(s) on an anticipated delivery date and will not be held responsible for the return of these goods.
Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods in good condition. If the package looks to be damaged or appears not to be in good condition then please sign for the goods as damaged. If you are unable to check the goods then please sign for unchecked. Failure to do so could affect any warranty claim that you make thereafter. If delivery is refused at the delivery address on an undamaged package we cannot be held responsible.
Please note: Orders received over holiday periods (Christmas, Bank Holidays etc.) will be dispatched at the earliest opportunity. Please accept some delay at these times.
Express orders received on Saturday & Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Express orders received on Fridays will be dispatched on Friday for Monday delivery.
We currently deliver to UK only.
Finance orders will only be sent to the ‘Billing Address’.
No goods are to be returned to Browns Angling without prior notice.
If you return goods because they were ordered incorrectly, or if clothing does not fit, you will only be credited for the goods and not the carriage; If you require a different model, size or colour, the return will be at the customers cost, we will send replacement at our cost.
All goods must be returned in original undamaged packaging.
All refunds will be credited to the card/payment method on which the goods were paid for.
All damaged/defective items must be reported directly to Browns Angling within 24 hours of delivery.
Out of Stock Items:
With fast turnover of stock there may be the rare occasion where an item showing in stock is unavailable. In this circumstances we will make every effort to contact you by phone. If we are unable to make contact (within 24hrs.) we will either send the rest of the order with a suitable alternative or cancel the item/order and refund.
Price Match Policy:
- We’ll match our competitor’s store or website UK price (excludes ebay).
- We and the competitor must have stock ready for delivery.
- We must be able to verify the competitor’s price and stock position.
- We will match the product price.
- Our price match offer cannot be used with any other offer.
- Our price match promise is for personal use only. We reserve the right to restrict our price match on each item to one per customer.
- The item must be “like for like” which means that it is brand new, the same colour, contains the same quantity, has an identical manufacturer reference number and is offered on the same terms.
- Typographical pricing errors will not be matched.
- We can only accept one price match request per item.
- This guarantee is subject to change and can be withdrawn at any time.

By using our site or subscribing to our mailing list you may receive subsequent email notifications of future coupon codes, discounts and deals. Throughout this Covid-19 pandemic, our overriding priority has been, and remains the safety of our staff and customers.
We have adopted a variety of measures designed to reduce the spread of the disease, amongst which of course is the wearing of face coverings.
Along with the Government we consider this to be an essential part of our armoury in our efforts to protect the safety and welfare of our staff and customers. Consequently, it is our policy to insist that everyone wishing to enter our buildings must wear a face covering. We fully appreciate this may cause some people inconvenience for which we sincerely apologise.
However, anyone who is unable to wear a mask and who wishes to purchase an essential item can contact one of our depots and our staff will do their very best to help them make their purchase.
